Grow agarwood on your land, guided from sapling to sale.
We help farmers and landowners in the Sahyadri region plan, plant, care for and sell agarwood. Healthy saplings, honest advice, and full project support when you want it.

What is agarwood?
Agarwood, also called oud or agar, is the dark, fragrant resin that forms inside Aquilaria trees. It is used in perfume, attar and incense around the world.
How it forms
Healthy Aquilaria wood is pale. Resin forms only after the tree is wounded or infected, so growers use a guided process called inoculation.
Why it is valued
Only about 7 to 10 in 100 wild trees form resin naturally, and about 70 kg of wood gives at most 20 ml of oud oil.
A long-term crop
Trees are usually inoculated at around 6 to 8 years and harvested at around 8 to 12 years, depending on growth.
Grown legally
Plantation-grown agarwood needs registration and permits to move and sell. We guide you through them.
Three ways to start
Agarwood saplings
Aquilaria malaccensis plants, 1.5 to 4 years old and 2 to 8 ft tall. We deliver to your farm.
Prices depend on age and size.

Can agarwood grow in Kolhapur?
The western talukas, such as Gaganbawada, Radhanagari, Chandgad, Ajra and Shahuwadi, get the warm, wet climate Aquilaria needs. Drier eastern talukas need irrigation, and results there are less certain. We check your land before you plant.
How long until harvest?
Usually around 8 to 12 years from planting. Trees are inoculated first, at around 6 to 8 years or once they are thick enough.
Can I grow other crops alongside?
Yes. Intercropping with crops like areca, coconut, banana or turmeric can give you income in the early years.
Do you guarantee returns or buy back the harvest?
No. Nobody can honestly guarantee resin quality or future prices. We help you find buyers and get a fair market price, and you stay free to sell to anyone.
